It's nearly April and we ain't foolin' - What The Brothers Sang is fully blooming! Dawn McCarthy & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy's live USA dates, where they're sure to play some of these songs, don't kick in until mid-July, but that don't matter; there's plenty of pre-tour fun to be had, and wherever fun's ripe for having, Bonne and Dawn are there pluck it straight from the tree for sweet little nibbles and big juicy bites. So look out for your lemons, all you Bay Area-types - they're coming for you! Beginning this weekend, the Everly-covering duo join hands and forces to take over the airwaves and run through the stacks at some select sweet spots. Here's what's on the the menu: Sunday, March 31st, The Faun and the 'Prince' wing it on over to Stranded Music in Oakland for a free in store at the oh-so-friendly post-Easter-dinner but pre-Easter-mass hour of 6:30PM!

Then on Monday, April 1st, Bonny and Dawny perform live on the air at UC Berkeley's venerable KALX. Set your internal alarms for 11AM! Later in the afternoon, the brothers ans sisters sing at Capital Public Radio up in Sacramento for a taped performance set to broadcast the following week, before landing at the evening hour over at Armadillo Music, in Davis, for another free in-store that will be completely live!. Whether behind studio glass or in front of a record-buying (or just buy-curious) crowd, Dawn McCarthy & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy play for you. If all this goodness is outside of your reach, the duo will also tape tape sessions for NPR's World Cafe and a set for KCRW - so stay dialed in for the forseeable further!
