And so we begin the 12 days of XXXmas here at Drag City; or wait, has Hanukkah dropped yet? When's Kwanza? Isn't it Chinese New Year already? We can't tell, to be honest - it was a heaven and hell of a weekend, ok? Partying with ourselves, then crashing holiday get-togethers everywhere we weren't allowed; I mean, in this day and age, where you're encouraged (and actually rewarded) by big brother to slight Mom n' Pop Shops in favor of online retail, it's important for a maker of quality goods such as ourselves to make our physical presents truly felt wherever we can, regardless of the intended party's interpretation of a gift exchange, OK? We always cover the carpet cleaning bill. Anyway, it's nice to get a gift once in a while that you didn't know you needed; even better when you definitely wanted it but didn't know it existed. Such is the case with today's gift from Espers, via Drag "Santa Claws" City - their brilliant album, III, from 2009 (in the history of time, this is still new, people!), yielded a video created by Nadia Hironaka & Matthew Suib for the track "Another Moon Song," which originally played at 2 international venues - ARCOMadrid Feria Internacional de Arte Contemporaneo in Madrid, Spain; and at Galapagos Art Space in Brooklyn, NY, both times as a greater piece entitled Right Here, Out There (Nowhere). Now for the first time, we present it to you with love from Drag City- Espers' "Another Moon Song," the video!
