Ty Segall’s 16th studio album, Possession, is out now! In the midst of touring North America this summer, Ty and his band — Mikal Cronin on bass, Emmett Kelly on guitar, Ben Boye on keys, and Evan Burrows on drums — stopped by the NPR Music studios in Washington, D.C. to tape their first Tiny Desk Concert. They kicked things off with “You’re The Doctor,” following with four songs from across his catalog: Ty’s latest single, “Possession,” then “Whisper,” “Girlfriend,” and “My Best Friend.” The full performance is available to watch now.

Ty recently wrapped up a run of dates opening for Primus, hopping on guest vocals with the band at their final show together for a Black Sabbath tribute. Ty will continue to tour this Autumn across the West Coast to celebrate the release of Possession, including a just-announced show in Los Angeles on October 10th (tickets on sale later today).
