Songs Album II, out via Country Thyme Records on June 26, cruises through sunny pop sounds of yesteryear with modern-day wit woven throughout. "Who Do You Think You Are I Am?" is a rough ‘n tumble pop progression. Pivoting hard-stop into the chorus, Aaron offers a nifty satirical musing on lived reality’s implosion among our internet’s pitiless rage galleries. As universal values dissolve in an incident of viral upset, immaculate ‘50s/60s hooks are ground into glittering noir. The chorus brag’s sumptuous melody has the bruised glow of a breaking heart: "I am the window, you are the breeze. I am the pollen, you are the sneeze." The music video is a system overload of spectacle: a karaoke-within-karaoke simulation that renders Aaron like a long-lost PS1 mascot in low-poly 3D.
