Six Organs of Admittance has been touring under the Drag City banner since 2005, yet we can count on one hand the amount of times he’s gone out in support of another artist on tour. It’s not really a thing he usually does. But when Steve Von Till, of the venerable Neurosis, asked Ben if he’d like to hit the road for a handful of dates with Steve, Ben said yes without hesitation. Steve and Ben have been in contact since Steve originally asked Six Organs to play the Roadburn festival in Tilburg in 2009, when Neurosis was curating. Ben is a huge admirer of Steve’s work, both in Neurosis, under Steve’s name, and under the name of Steve’s heavy psych-dub-folk project, Harvestman.
