From LA trumpeter-turned-tunesmith Tommy Peltier (who last week, we should note, turned 91!) comes a new single, out today: "10,000 Greyhounds," a frantic exorcism of jangle-blues with Tommy’s many dogs on the hell hound trail of lore. Recorded at Capitol Records in 1971, the rock ‘n’ rollin’ rhythm guitar drives the song with Lou Reed-style physicality, sending Tommy into scats and the band into jams. Like a lightning strike that travels through time — is there a word for that? — White Fence are all of a sudden cracking again. Music for Pulse Meridian Foliation, out March 27, is the work of Chicago-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Joshua Abrams. His new work is the aural manifestation of an art installation described as “an in-between space and access point to a pulsating experience that connects body and land.” An excerpt of the album is out today with a music video.

In the wake of acclaimed 10th album release, Inland See, the "Isle Peaks" EP is another side of Bitchin Bajas.
